Who’s behind the wand?
I am. My name is Steph Irwin, and I’m an independent travel advisor with Fora Travel. The Magical Travel Fairy is the part of my practice devoted to good deals: finding them on quality travel, then making them simple to book.
Many people first find me through a single deal, then keep me for every trip that follows. That is my favorite way for it to happen. Once we know each other, I can plan all of it.

Is there a real person here?
Yes. The Magical Travel Fairy is me, Steph Irwin. I’m a travel advisor with Fora Travel, and I read every wish, plan every trip, and handle every booking myself.
Does booking with you cost more?
For most hotels, cruises, and packages, no. Travel companies pay me a commission, so you typically pay the same rate you’d find yourself, or less, because I have access to more rate types and to programs that add special perks for my clients. I never charge planning fees.
How do hotel perks work?
When I book an eligible hotel through Fora’s partner programs, your stay can include extras such as daily breakfast, an upgrade, or a credit to use at the property. Perks vary by hotel, and you’ll see exactly what’s included before you book.
Do you only book budget trips?
Not at all. I’ll book whatever you’re dreaming of; my particular talent is making it cost less than you expected.
Can I book some things myself?
Yes. Some of my finds, like tours and excursions, are links you can book on your own in a minute. When a link earns me a commission, I’ll say so.
